The list platform that makes sharing simple.

When chatting about this someone asked me 'What's the point?', which is a great starting place. Every year I'm asked for my Christmas list which invariably means me sending a link to the ubiquitously large one stop shopping giant platform (I'll keep the names out) list. The problem is there are many things that are actually not listed on the unmentioned giant website. I also would prefer to support smaller retailers or even direct crafts people. So I created this, for freedom of choice; and I hope this also helps smaller retailers out there that might not be seen.

Hippopotalist is here for you; to create your own personal page where you can organize lists for any occasion: birthdays, holidays, weddings, vacations or just things you love.

Each list has its own shareable link, and you can add item titles, notes, and links to anywhere on the web; and you can also do so privately or publicly, however you wish.

Hippopotalist exists with the idea of simplicity. What you see is what you get, there is no interest here in collecting data or any involvement of an algorithm; it exists because its something I want to exist for a specific purpose that I hope you find useful. Eventually I'll link a way here to donate if there is a desire to support what I'm doing here and to keep it up and running. There is no interest also in having advertising on the site. I want it clean, safe and simple. I also want you to be able to access and share this in areas that might have less robust data available to you.
